Understanding TCP/IP

A lot of people feel a bit daunted by the thought of networking their computers together, or are a bit confused by my specific networking configuration pages. Although I've tried to make my instructional pages as easy to understand as possible, I've decided to write this short page as a general introduction to the concepts of networking via TCP/IP and to hopefully demystify some of the terms and conventions.
