The set of Mah Jong Tiles (designed for the Shanghai game I wrote but never released) contains all 42 tile designs and one bamboo coloured back. All are 3D-shaded 16-colour sprites, size 42 by 54 pixels. The set of Playing Cards (designed for the card game I never even got round to writing) comprises all 52 cards along with black and red Jokers, and blue and red backs. All the cards have rounded corners and are 4-colour and 16-colour sprites, size 59 by 79 pixels. Both tiles and cards are free for any non-commercial use: just credit me with the design. | ||||

Looking for something less garish but still colourful? ToolSprites3 contains 6 sets of more subtly coloured window furniture. Due to the limitations of the 256-colour palette, the softer colours can only be got by dithering with greys and may be obviously dotty except in large screen modes, on fuzzy monitors or in bleary eyes. Each set is a complete application - just double-click for that 'Round Midnight mood! (Window tiles are not included in the price. There is a selection further down this page.) | ||||

Hermetic Font has a full set of Greek and Hebrew characters, crosses, polygons, stars, astrological, planetary, musical and playing card symbols, black and white dice, and constituents of the four element symbols. A stretch style is provided for Hebrew emphasis. (Not recommended for use as the Desktop font.) | ||||

For that extra personal touch, may I recommend replacing your old folders with a set of Chunky Folders Each of the 27 colours comes with directory, directoryo, small_dir and small_diro icons. | ||||
